I am so excited to introduce Solstice PT’s newest physical therapist, the amazing Dr. Marin Campbell!  Dr. Marin and I have been friends and colleagues for years, and throughout that time we have dreamed about being able to work in an environment where we can treat our patients holistically and based on their individual needs without the confines of insurance restrictions, mountains of unnecessary paperwork and time limits.  We wanted to utilize specialized skills, such as myofascial release, that cannot be completed within the 10-20 minutes of hands-on treatment that is so common in insurance-based clinics.  Well….our dream has come true!  We both feel so lucky to be able to work with our incredible patients without restrictions and able to use whatever treatment techniques that we feel are best for them.

Dr. Marin was raised in a military family and fortunate to live in many places before receiving her bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia in 2001. After college, she moved out to Colorado where she worked in the ski and bike industries as well as coaching high school swimming. Marin’s experiences as a coach, her own training as a competitive mountain biker, and her rehabilitation from shoulder surgery compelled her to return to school where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2014. An accomplished mountain biker, she understands how to optimize performance through tailored training programs. However, she has also experienced the slow, methodical, and sometimes frustrating recoveries from shoulder and hip surgeries, and this feeds into her collaborative, holistic approach to treatment. Marin has worked with a diverse collection of patients in a variety of outpatient orthopedic settings including occupational medicine, hospital-based, and upper extremity clinics. Dry needling is an important part of her practice, and she is certified through the Integrative Dry Needling Institute. She also extensively employs the John Barnes Myofascial Release Approach which fits nicely with her intuitive and holistic style. When she’s not working, you will find Marin mountain biking, skiing, hiking, cooking, or traveling.

Dr. Marin is now working at Solstice PT on Wednesdays and Fridays.  She is an incredible therapist and is very skilled in all of the specialty practices that Solstice PT is known for.  She also has amazing knowledge and experience in hand therapy, professional bike fitting, and treating athletes for injury treatment, injury prevention and performance enhancement.  If you are in need of any PT services, please come in and meet Dr. Marin – you will be very happy!

As always, we appreciate your support so much.  If you have any friends or family that are in need of our services, please send them our way and we will strive to help them to live their best lives!
