How YouTube is Transforming My Patient Care Approach

For a while now I’ve been trying to think of ways that I could help my patients even more between their treatments. How could I encourage them to do more self-care techniques at home? How could I spend less time showing self-care techniques in my office and utilize the in-person time for more hands-on treatment? How could I educate my patients on how to do the self-care techniques properly and give them a resource to refer to that wasn’t just a picture with a generic description? And VOILA! I have a YouTube Channel!

I’ve also always struggled with the fact that I can only treat a certain amount of patients and I would love to help so many more people. YouTube has allowed me to not only improve my patient’s experience with self-care education, but it’s allowed me to interact with the world! I am hopeful that my channel will continue to grow and that I can spread the word about Myofascial Release, physical therapy and ways that people can help themselves to feel better, decrease tension and stress in their bodies, recover from injuries and bring their bodies back into balance.

I am currently releasing 1-2 videos a week and I am starting with the self-care techniques that I prescribe more often, but I would love to have feedback about what people would like to see next. Please comment on this post, email me or comment on one of my YouTube videos if you would like to see more about how to help a particular area of the body or symptom.

I am excited to spread the word about how to help ourselves to feel more grounded in our busy world. Please subscribe to my YouTube channel and share with as many people as you can! I truly feel like the world would be a better place if people took the time to love and care for themselves, even if it’s just 5 minutes a day!
