Dr. Lisa Wilcox, PT, DPT, CERT-DN
Owner, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Lisa Wilcox, PT, DPT loves working with all different types of diagnoses, but thrives on helping people with chronic pain or difficult to treat injuries to regain function and live their best lives! She has received specialized training through the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Approach, the Institute for Birth Healing, and is certified in Dry Needling. She utilizes different manual therapy techniques to supplement customized therapeutic exercise programs, functional training and patient education.

Lisa was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska. She received her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science in 2003 and then her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Montana, Missoula in 2006. After finishing school she moved to Colorado and worked in both corporate and private practice clinics for 7 years, until she realized that she wanted to provide a more personal and inclusive treatment that was not possible with in-network insurance. Starting in 2013 she provided contract services to clinics and private in-home therapy throughout the Denver Metro area and then started Solstice Physical Therapy in 2017.

Lisa is married to her wonderful husband Cory and they were blessed with their beautiful baby girl, Emma, in August of 2018. They enjoy traveling, camping, spending time with friends and family, all of the Colorado outdoor activities, and getting back home to Alaska to visit family and go fishing and hiking.

Miruh Hamend, LMT, CNMT
Licensed Massage Therapist

Miruh is a licensed massage therapist with over 20 years experience. She uses her training in neuromuscular therapy (NMT), traditional Thai massage, myofascial release, and qigong to help people release restrictions and move with greater ease. In addition, she has received many hours of treatment, enabling her to better relate to and understand her clients.

Miruh graduated from Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy in 2004 and was certified in the St. John method of NMT, which addresses pain by restoring balance between the muscular and nervous systems. She also studied traditional Thai massage – in the U.S. and in Thailand – to better help her clients restore energy flow and flexibility. In 2018, she was introduced to myofascial release, which had a profound impact on her personally, and is now the primary massage technique she uses during sessions.

Miruh is passionate about helping people improve their overall function and wellbeing, and she looks forward to meeting and working with you!
